There is de facto only one beach on the Costa Rei, over 8km long, which starts in the north at Capoferrato, continues through the main resort of Costa Rei and ends in the south at the small resort of Sant'Elmo.

After a short interruption by a small cliff, the swimming continues on the beach of Cala Sinzias, about 2 km long, at Casa della Marina. There are plenty of opportunities for swimming, including more secluded spots without crowds of tourists, on the Costa Rei.

Transportation

Although the car is generally the most convenient means of transport for travelling around Sardinia, there is a road running the entire length of Costa Rei for a maximum distance of 250 metres, which also has bus stops.
