Kadriorg is located in the eastern part of Tallinn and includes a large park with a baroque presidential palace, built by Peter the Great during the occupation of Estonia. Kadriorg is also home to another futuristic building, the 7-storey high KUMU Gallery, which houses works by Estonian artists from the 18th century to the present day (such as works by Adamson-Eric) as well as other museums.
