Relax on the grass by the water

The vast Faelledparken offers a great opportunity to relax on warm summer days and is a pleasant and much more relaxed option to the Royal Gardens around Rosenborg Castle.

In the middle of the park is a large pond, around which you can lie down on the always manicured grass or set up your picnic camp on several tables with benches.

Copenhagen Historic Grand Prix

Every year, a very popular race of nostalgic race cars through a cross-section of history takes place in the streets around Fælledparken. It is the largest motoring event in Denmark.

The race is always held on the first weekend in August and tickets go on sale about 2 months in advance. Tickets for one day cost around 350 dkk, tickets for both days of the weekend are usually discounted and cost around 600 dkk.
