Billund in a nutshell

Lego House detail

Billund is a very small town in central Denmark with a population of around 7,000, which is famous for Lego bricks. Ole Kirk Christiansen, the creator of these building bricks, hails from Billund, and it was here that he established his first factory.

It is therefore no surprise that The Lego Group has its headquarters in Billund and continues to produce building sets here on a large scale.

Other attractions here also tie in with the history of Lego, led by the famous and oldest Legoland.
