This small regional airport is located on an island practically right in the centre of Toronto, a two-minute ferry ride across Lake Ontario or a 5-minute walk through an underwater tunnel.

Due to tight space conditions, only smaller propeller-driven aircraft up to about 75 passengers can fly here. Porter Airlines has its main regional base here and Air Canada also has frequent regional service.

The terminal is very small, which is one of the reasons why the airport is popular with passengers - the check-in process is incomparably faster than at a larger international airport. Toronto Pearson YYZ.
