Internet and wi-fi

Wifi is available throughout the airport.

ATMs and currency exchange

The Travelex exchange office is located in the arrivals hall of the international section, but has very unfavourable exchange rates.

You won't find a standard ATM at Shizuoka Airport.

If you're heading to Shizuoka from another Japanese airport, it's ideal to withdraw your money before departure, for example at Sapporo or Fukuoka Airport.

If you are arriving from abroad, you can withdraw your money in the centre of nearby towns. You can pay for the bus from the airport to the city centre by card, see the Transport section.

Luggage storage

You can use the automatic luggage lockers on the ground floor and 1st floor. You can pay by card and cash (coins only) and the price ranges from 400 jpy to 500 jpy depending on the size of your luggage.

Shops and supermarket

On the ground floor you can buy cheap snacks at the 7-Eleven mini-market, which is open daily 6:40-20:30.

Other shops can be found up to the 1st floor still in the public area and are mostly souvenir shops or duty free goods.

The pharmacy at Shizuoka Airport is not open.

Of course, I was attracted by the shop for aviation enthusiasts where you can buy a lot of airport or Fuji Dream Airlines souvenirs.

There are no more shops after the security check.

Dining options

All restaurants and cafes are located on the 1st floor before security checkpoint (landside).

There are restaurants with Japanese cuisine (several in one large food court) and small local cafes.

There are no restaurants in the transit area after the security check, only vending machines for coffee and drinks.

The vending machines can usually be paid with coins, contactless card or IC card.
