Hotels and sleeping at Paris Orly Airport

Paris

Orly Airport has an all-night service with frequent departures very early in the morning or arrivals very late in the evening. In such cases, it may be useful to use one of the hotels in the area.

Overnight in the terminal - opening hours

All public areas of the terminals are open 24 hours a day. The transit areas behind security, on the other hand, close at most terminals between approximately 1:30 and 4:30.

If you want to save money and spend the night in the terminal, this is possible. However, be prepared for possible checks where you will have to show your ticket.

Overnight stays in the terminal at Paris Orly Airport are among the least comfortable in Europe. There are very few seats and all of them have armrests. During the night, all the repairs, construction work and cleaning takes place and you will not find a quiet spot in the whole airport.

The quietest places to sleep are on the 2nd floor of Terminal 4.

Right by the terminals

There are two hotels within walking distance of Terminal 4, and the other terminals can be reached in 15 minutes or by the free OrlyVal automated train.

Around the airport

There are dozens of other hotels nearby, and although you'll have to use public transport to get to them, the prices are lower than those of the airport hotels. For example, we choose these well accessible and cheap hotels:

  • Kyriad Hôtel Orly Aéroport - Athis Mons - prices from 90 eur, one tram stop (the other way from the centre) to the Porte de l'Essonne terminus, a ride of about 2 minutes from the airport
  • hotelF1 Rungis Orly - prices from 50 eur, the cheapest option in the area, you need to take about 10 minutes by tram to the bus stop. Saarinen, from where you can walk to the hotel in 400 meters (can be reached one stop by bus 216)
