Getting from Nuuk Airport

Bus line 3 runs to the terminal once an hour, but taxis are much more convenient and much faster.
Taxi
Taxis are the most common form of transport not only in Nuuk, but in all Greenlandic cities.
There are always a large number of taxis waiting outside the terminal for every scheduled arrival, even at night.
Taxis can be paid by card or cash and the average price to central Nuuk is between 190 dkk and 220 dkk.
There are no taxi apps like Bolt or Uber operating in Nuuk, but the availability of classic taxis everywhere in the city is great.
Public transport - bus line 3
There is a bus stop outside the terminal for the number 3 circular bus line, which connects the airport to Nuuk city centre and the Nuussuaq district.
Line 3 runs only once an hour and only on weekdays from Monday to Friday. Please note that if a public holiday falls on a day between Monday and Friday, Line 3 does not run on that day either.
The first bus from the city centre does not leave until 8:22 and the last bus from the airport at 17:11.
One ride costs 20 dkk and is payable in cash only to the driver. You do not need to have the exact amount.
