Internet and wi-fi

Wi-fi is free and unlimited throughout the airport.

Luggage storage

There is no luggage storage or automatic luggage lockers available at the airport.

Shops and restaurants

The public area of the airport does not have a single shop, nor are there any refreshment options apart from one vending machine.

After passing through security, you can use only one single shop selling duty free goods (cosmetics, perfumery, alcohol, cigarettes, souvenirs).

Next to the shop is the only café in the whole airport - Café Sumut. It offers mainly cold meals (sandwiches, cereals, yoghurt, muesli) and simple hot meals (omelettes, burgers). Opening hours are subject to the current flight schedule.

ATMs and exchange offices

Although Nuuk is Greenland's main international airport, there is no currency exchange office or ATM in the terminal.

If you are arriving on one of the flights from Denmark, withdraw Danish Kroner from an ATM before departure.

Taxis from the airport can be paid for with a card without any problems, but public buses can only be paid for with cash.

Vending machines selling drinks and coffee are located in the public and transit areas of the airport. In the public area, these are the only refreshment options.
