Bahrain Airport is served by only 1 terminal. The building is modern, very clear and relatively small.
The airport does not have any satellite terminals in the middle of the airport area, so you will walk no more than 5 minutes from the security checkpoint to the furthest departure gate.
Transfer between flights
Gulf Air specialises mainly in transfer passengers, and Bahrain Airport caters for this.
Compared to other major transfer hubs in the region (such as Dubai, Doha or Abu Dhabi), Bahrain's airport is significantly smaller, making transfers quicker and easier.
The transfer is very well signposted, just follow the yellow signs "Transfers". If you don't have a boarding pass for a connecting flight, you can get one at the transfer desk.
You then take the escalator to the 2nd floor where there is a mandatory security check.
Security lines are usually 10-20 minutes long.

Overnight stay in the terminal - opening hours
The public and transit section of the airport remains open 24/7. There are more comfortable places to stay overnight after the security check, which you can go through at any time, even many hours before departure.
There are comfortable seats in the transit area, but they tend to be occupied in the early evening.

For a more comfortable overnight stay before an early morning departure or during a long layover, you can use the airport hotels.
