Qantas Lounge reviews at London Heathrow Airport
The Qantas Lounge is one of 4 oneworld lounges in Terminal 3 at London Heathrow Airport. We visited it as part of our lounge tour during November 2025.
Lounge opening hours and location
The lounge can be found a 1 minute walk from security between the Cathay Pacific and British Airways Galleries lounges.
It takes up to 20 minutes to walk to the furthest departure gate from the lounge, so plan your departure well.
- πOpen daily 6 :00-20:00
- π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦ The busiest times are 7:00-10:00 and 16:30-19:00.

Seating and atmosphere
The Qantas Lounge is the only one of the lounges in Terminal 3 that is double decker.
On the ground floor is an a la carte restaurant with a bar and mostly dining tables. This floor is slightly busier and perfect for a quick stop for a meal.
On the 1st floor you will find a large number of comfortable armchairs, but also dining tables, bar tables or couches and sofas.
If you want to spend longer in the lounge, we definitely recommend the 1st floor, where there are many more seating options as well as a quieter atmosphere.
On the 1st floor you will find a buffet bar with food where you can scoop up whatever you like yourself.
The rooms are bright, decorated in pleasant shades of brown, grey and white. The Qantas Lounge is spacious and there are plenty of quiet areas.
It's also generally much less crowded than the other 3 oneworld lounges in Terminal 3, which only adds to the quieter atmosphere.
Food and drink
As well as a small buffet, the Qantas Lounge offers a classic Γ la carte restaurant - the only one of the Terminal 3 lounges to do so.
Restaurant
On the ground floor of the lounge is an Γ la carte restaurant with an all-day brunch menu. Choose from dishes such as eggs benedict, porridge, avocado toast, noodles and fried squid.
You can order your food in the classic way from the waiter, who will then bring it to you.
However, the restaurant is not open all day, but only at these times:
- 9:25-11:55
- 17:00-19:30
Buffet
The main buffet is located on the 1st floor, with a smaller buffet also next to the restaurant, which is more just snacks, popcorn and sweets.
Hot food has a breakfast menu (until about 11:30am) and a lunch menu (until the lounge closes).
We were in the lounge in the morning and then after noon, so we saw both options.
Breakfast is absolutely classic - eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato and hashbrown.
Lunch was soup, followed by potatoes, grilled vegetables, onion rings and Indian curry. In this respect, the menu is probably the worst of all the oneworld lounges in Terminal 3.
The cold food menu includes puddings, chia seeds, fruit and lots of sweet and savoury pastries in the morning.
The lunch and afternoon cold food consists mainly of vegetables, quiche and pastries.
However, there is a complete lack of counters with other sweets or perhaps cheese or ham. Overall, the food offer is not as extensive as, say, the Cathay Pacific Lounge next door.
Soft drinks are handled with great infused waters (the best for me is ginger!) and two types of juice.
However, there are no fridges with cans and other sodas.
The alcohol selection is relatively extensive, especially on cocktails, spirits and hard liquor.
However, you can only order alcohol at the bar, both in the restaurant on the ground floor and on the first floor.
Coffee can also be ordered at the 1st floor bar or the ground floor restaurant. Of the Terminal 3 lounges, this is where I think the coffee is the best!
In addition, you can also use the coffee machines, next to which there is also quite a wide selection of teas.
Showers and other facilities
For a lounge aimed mainly at long-haul passengers, showers are a must.
You'll find them on the 1st floor, and during peak times, there can be a wait-list of 15-20 minutes. The showers are clean and spacious.
I appreciate the ample amount of outlets that are at most seats and tables. However, there are only British-style outlets and USB-A connectors.
And that's it. There are no children's play areas, smoking areas or other services in the Qantas Lounge.
Conclusion and my rating
The Qantas Lounge at Terminal 3 tends to be the quietest of all oneworld lounges.
If you want a lounge mainly for work, relaxation and good coffee (not just from a vending machine), I can recommend the Qantas Lounge. It's also great for breakfast in the a la carte restaurant.

- Comfortable seating
- Good coffee
- Quiet environment and nice atmosphere
- A la carte restaurant
