London Heathrow Airport in a nutshell
Heathrow is not only the largest airport in Europe, but also one of the most important global hubs.
It is the main base for British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, but is also home to virtually every major airline in the world. As a result, it offers one of the widest long-haul portfolios ever - from the US to Asia to Australia.
Located approximately 27km west of central London, it is the closest of all London's major airports to the city centre. In practice, this means faster and more convenient transport into the city, whether you choose the tube, train or taxi.

Hey, quick question. We're flying from Berlin to Miami. Connecting at Heatrow in 75 minutes. Apparently moving terminal 3 to terminal 5.
Will that be enough? I know it will take about 30 minutes as standard, but it still doesn't seem enough.
It comes to....which part of T5, it has 3. What's the bus queue gonna be like. If there's no delays, it shouldn't be a problem.
Did somebody really sell it with 75 minutes? I thought the MCT between T3 and T5 was 90 minutes.
The BA flight from Berlin should be landing at T5.
Then it should be at the same T5 terminal.
Check with the airline (BA) which terminal the flight from Berlin lands at.
The flight to Miami will probably be from terminal 5C.
You can make it.
If it's from Berlin T5, then it's OK. I was confused because Prague flies T3.
Thanks, everybody. The flight from Berlin is indeed landing at T5. So I'll buy it, but if I can't make it, woe betide you :-)
75 is the minimum connection time on T5, so it should be fine.
That Miami airport is a mess.
Long hallways, escalators that don't work, you have to take a train... and then there's the huge lines at immigration.
Then you come out of customs and have to wiggle your way out of the terminal where the next train goes to the rental car lot.
