Queen's Bath

The wild rocky coastline around the resort town of Princeville in northern Kauai creates beautiful scenery, but interesting natural pools filled with seawater, but protected from the biggest waves by a natural rock "wall".
The most famous one is called Queen's Bath and can be conveniently visited within a few minutes' walk.
Rock Pool on the shore
Just steps from the residential area of Princeville, you'll find yourself on a wild shoreline with black rocks crashing against the roaring waters of the Pacific Ocean.
Rounded rocks in one spot create a natural pool where seawater spills over the rocks, but swimming here is not dangerous because the area is protected from large waves and undercurrents.
Take a dip in the pool and relax in the unusual surroundings.
How to get there
Queen's Bath lies on the outskirts of Princeville.
The trail starts at the end of Kapiolani Loop in a residential area, and you'll find free parking for about 6 cars.
If it's busy, there's nothing to do but park somewhere in downtown Princeville and take a pleasant stroll through the quiet residential neighborhoods.
