There are also 2 rainy seasons in Dar es Salaam:
- from mid-March to mid-May - heavy and very heavy rains.
- mid-October to December - less heavy but frequent showers
However, Dar es Salaam is situated in a strip of coastline where tropical rain can occur at almost any time, even in the dry season. Most of the time, however, it's just a short shower that subsides within 30 minutes.
