Paisaje Lunar

Paisaje Lunar

A small rock town with formations of strange shapes of white to orange colour can be visited in a beautiful landscape of low coniferous forests. The formations are called Paisaje Lunar, which translates to moonscape , and indeed this small area resembles an alien landscape.

The cheapest accommodation in Tenerife

Since Paisaje Lunar is not easily accessible by car, the place is visited by a minimum of tourists, so you can enjoy the divine tranquility with the smell of the pine forests.

Paisaje Lunar is situated at 2,000 metres above sea level on a hiking trail about halfway between the village of Vilaflor de Chasna and the rock formations of Los Roques de Garcia. Both places are reached by buses, although only once a day to Los Roques (line 342), while Vilaflor is reached several times a day from Los Cristianos (line 482).
