The village on the south side of Pulau Kecil is basically the only real settlement on the islands and offers the cheapest accommodation and food in the whole archipelago. It's definitely worth a trip here for at least one evening. You also shouldn't miss the sight of the iconic floating mosque, which you can see from the boat as you cross between the islands.
