Ilulissat in a nutshell

Greenland's third largest city is without a doubt the number 1 tourist must-see. Ilulissat lies on the banks of the famous Icefiord - a fjord literally dotted with glittering and white ice floes of all sizes and shapes.
The Icefiord is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and, as one of the few easily accessible fjords, is dotted with ice floes that break off from the nearby Kangia Glacier all year round, including the summer months.
