Nesebar in a nutshell
The Bulgarian resort of Nesebar is also one of the country’s most valuable historic towns and, thanks to its well-preserved monuments from the Thracian period and antiquity, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town’s name is sometimes transcribed as ‘Nessebar’.
The old town is situated on a romantic peninsula and can be explored in an hour.
New Nesebar, on the mainland, offers facilities such as large hotels, shops and beautiful sandy beaches.
You can experience a lively nightlife, entertainment and shopping in the neighbouring resort of Sunny Beach.
