Jerudong is one of the most visited leisure areas in Brunei and is especially popular with locals.

Compared to Muara Beach, which attracts mainly relaxed swimming, leisurely walks and picnics, Jerudong is a much more lively resort with luxury hotels, several beaches and an amusement park.

Beaches and swimming

Apart from the natural and long Muara beach, Jerudong has several artificial bays with breakwaters and beautiful sandy beaches with very calm water and safe access to the sea.

There are a few restaurants at the main Jerudong beach (see map), but the other neighbouring beaches are without facilities and also without people.

Jerudong Amusement Park

A short walk from the beaches, visit Brunei's largest amusement park, full of rides, playgrounds and water rides.

In a global context, Jerudong is a very small park and appeals more to children, but there are several food courts and as a place to relax combined with decent entertainment, Jerudong is very nice.

Detailed information about opening hours, attractions and admission fees can be found on the official website: jerudongpark.com.

Enjoy luxury at Empire Hotel Brunei

On the northern edge of Jerudong beaches, you'll find the most luxurious hotel in Brunei with its own private beach and fantastic ratings.

If you want to unwind in Brunei while travelling around Borneo, for example, The Empire Hotel Brunei could be the perfect place for a 2 or 3 day break from your busy travels.
