Why we went to 7-Eleven every day in Thailand
The first time we went to 7-Eleven in Thailand just for water. The next day for coffee.
And after a couple of days, we found out that we go there three times a day - for breakfast, a quick dinner and small things that one would otherwise have a hard time finding. And especially for one particular thing, which I'll tell you about below in the article!
7-Eleven in Thailand is not just an ordinary diner. It's a place where you can eat cheaply, buy cosmetics, basic clothes, small electronics and often even withdraw money from an ATM.
We'll show you what to buy at 7-Eleven, how much food costs and what surprised us the most during our travels in Bangkok, Phuket, Koh Samui and Koh Phangan.

Why 7-Eleven is so popular in Thailand
The reason is simple: it's literally on every corner and open mostly 24 hours a day.
In fact, it works as a combination:
- a mini supermarket
- a fast food outlet
- drugstore
- ATM
- and sometimes a place to buy a SIM card or pay for services
In addition, the staff will heat up your food in the microwave without any problems, which is something you quickly get to like.
