Internet and Wi-Fi

Free Wi-Fi with no time limit is available throughout the terminal.

If you’re using an EU SIM card, you’ll be charged the same rates for calls and data in the Czech Republic as in your home country.

Supermarket

On the ground floor of Terminal 2, in the public area, you’ll find a standard Billasupermarket withnormal prices. The shop is a very welcome alternative to overpriced fast-food outlets.

Billa is open daily from 6.00 am to 9.00 pm, and from 7.00 am on Sundays.

Pharmacy

On the 2nd floor, directly above the Billa supermarket (Terminal 2, public area), you can visit the Benu pharmacy. It is open Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 16.00.

Restaurants and cafés

Although Prague Airport is renowned for its high prices in restaurants and shops, you will nevertheless find many establishments here with standard prices.

More affordable options can be found in the office block right next to the terminals.

You can enjoy a good meal at the Avion restaurantin the “Airport Business Centre”, roughly 300 metres from the terminals. It is a traditional canteen offering a daily selection of 8 to 9 dishes, with prices ranging from 4 eur to 6 eur . It is open from 8.00 to 15.00.

Shops

The transit areas of both terminals offer a wide range of duty-free shops where you can buy cheap alcohol, sweets and perfumes.

After passing through security, you’ll also come across several shops selling luxury clothing, although there are noticeably fewer of them at Prague Airport than at other airports of a similar size.

At the popular RELAY newsagents located throughout the airport, you can buy newspapers and magazines, drinks, baguettes or sweets.

The most popular shops at Prague Airport include the following:

  • Hamleys– toy shop, Terminals 1 and 2, transit area, open 7.00–21.00
  • LEGO Discover Prague– toy shop, Terminal 2, transit area, open 7.00–21.00

The vast majority of shops are only open from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. Only a few Relay newsagents and one duty-free shop in Terminal 1 remain open round the clock.

Luggage storage

You’ll find the luggage storage counter on the departures level of Terminal 2, near the oversized luggage check-in point.

It is open 24/7, but please be aware of two periods when it is closed and you cannot collect or store your luggage. It is closed at the following times:

  • 11:00–12:00
  • 19:00–20:00

The price for 24 hours’ storage is between 150 czk and 350 czk depending on the size of your luggage, and payment can only be made by card.

Showers

Public showers are available in the transit area of Terminal 1 in the ‘AeroRooms’ corner for a fee of 6 eur for 30 minutes, orfree of charge inthe transit area of Terminal 2 opposite the ERSTE lounge. Collect your key from the lounge reception in exchange for a €10 deposit, which will be refunded provided you do not lose the key.

ATMs and currency exchange bureaux

Currency exchange counters at the airport are operated exclusively by Interchange, which offers very unfavourable exchange rates.

Avoid using Interchange cash machines at the baggage carousels and only withdraw money from cash machines operated by mainstream banks:

  • Moneta – arrival halls in Terminals 1 and 2
  • ČSOB (KBC Group) – the connecting corridor between Terminals 1 and 2
  • Česká spořitelna (ERSTE Group) – connecting corridor between Terminals 1 and 2
  • UniCredit Bank – connecting corridor between Terminals 1 and 2

Relaxation area

Take a seat in the comfortable armchairs, make use of the coffee machine and enjoy an environment away from the crowds of travellers in the main corridors.

Entry to the Relax Zone is completely free, and you can stay for as long as you like. You’ll find the rooms at the following locations:

  • Terminal 1 – comfortable seats near the transfer desk
  • Terminal 2 – transit area, the space in front of the entrance to departure gates ‘C’

The Relax Zones are open 24 hours a day.

Drinking water

Throughout the airport (beyond security), you’ll find drinking fountains where you can fill your bottle with water for free and take it with you onto the plane.

You’ll find these water fountains near all the toilets.

Observation deck

The viewing terrace is situated between Terminals 1 and 2; entry is free and it is open 24 hours a day. However, the view is mainly of parked aircraft.

Artificial raised viewing mounds are available near the runways in the village of Kněževes, or approximately 3 km north of the village of Hostivice. However, these can only be reached comfortably by car.

Luggage wrapping

At both terminals, a service is available at the check-in counters where luggage can be wrapped in protective film, provided by SafeBag.

The price per piece of luggage is around 15 eur.
