There is one small terminal in Pisa, which tends to be congested in summer. It is therefore a good idea to expect larger crowds and queues for security checks of up to 30 minutes. The distances from the entrance to the exit to the aircraft are very short.

The airport terminal is only one level, with departures on the right and arrivals on the left.
After the security check you will come across an area with restaurants and departure gates to the Schengen area, then passport control and gates for flights to non-Schengen countries.
