Longyearbyen Svalbard Airport in a nutshell

The only entry point to the Norwegian archipelago of Spitsbergen, far beyond the Arctic Circle, Longyearbyen Airport is 5.5 km from the town of the same name. Longyearbyen is the world's northernmost airport with scheduled operations.
Regular flights from here only go to Norway's Oslo and Tromso airports. Both routes are operated by two airlines - SAS and Norwegian.
The airport terminal is very small, but modern, clear and comfortable. You can walk the entire concourse in 2 minutes and security lines are usually no more than 10 minutes.
Arrive at the airport 60-75 minutes before departure.
