So after arrival just opposite the exit, simka with 20gb of data for 39 lei :D next to the exchange office, exchange rate for the euro 17,50, whereas in the center for 19,6. We only exchanged 5 euro to pay for the bus to the city and the sim card.
SIM cards can also be bought in the city in newsagents. But the easiest way is to download the Orange app and buy an eSIM.
The best exchange rates are probably at the exchange offices near the market.
Otherwise, there's no need to change anything on the trolleybus, you can pay by card on this particular line.
The duty-free shops are pretty good, especially the part with Moldovan products. You can still find pretty cheap Moldovan wine there, see the e-shop. https://dutyfree.md/ They just don't have anything from Milestii Mici, oddly enough.

In Moldova, "roam like at home" is definitely not yet in effect, as stated in the text, you can expect expensive roaming with a Czech sim card. Anyway, you can get a local Orange SIM with 140 GB of data at the airport for a ridiculous 49 lei.
The author must have read last year's promises somewhere and succumbed to optimism. It's still a work in progress and maybe this year...?
I've written this elsewhere, so I'll repeat myself: Orange eSIM can be bought upfront in their app for the same ridiculous price.
Otherwise, I wonder when the EU roaming nonsense will finally disappear from the text, actually the opposite - when it will finally become true. 😂
I don't know if the operator of the duty free at the airport has changed, it's undergoing a semi-repair, the original duty free website is down. Otherwise, the prices of local produce are not great, everything is more expensive than in the shops in the city and even 2-3 times! A 5 year old Kvint for 0,5l for 11 EUR. I bought the same one in the shop in town for 100 MDL, which is less than half. Wines that cost 45 MDL in Milestii Mici cost 5-6 EUR in duty free. They even charge 1 EUR for a bag (ugly black one like for garbage), of course the price is not written anywhere and they like to pack every bottle in an extra bag 😀 BTW at security they don't want to pull liquids at all, so theoretically some bottle could pass, but I haven't tried it.
Well, that's very sad.
