Terminal A is a two-storey terminal: arrivals are on the ground floor and departures on the first floor.
The counters and security checkpoint are common to all flights. Only in the transit area are you subject to passport control, if you are going on a flight outside the Schengen area.
Terminal C is a small, simple building where arrivals and check-in desks are on the ground floor and distances are significantly shorter than in Terminal A.
For a map of the terminal, see the airport's official website: aeroporto.catania.it/en.
Transfer between flights
Catania Airport is not a typical transfer hub, but you can still take advantage of direct transit without leaving the non-public area.
