Where to find the best place to stay at or near Cairo Airport?

Sleeping in the terminal - opening hours

Due to the all-night heavy flight traffic, both terminals are open 24/7.

Sleeping overnight at Cairo Airport is possible and no one will check you in, as security screening takes place as soon as you enter the building from the outside.

However, sleeping comfortably in either terminal is virtually impossible. There are no comfortable seats or quiet corners. The traffic is very dense all night long and therefore there is a lot of noise in the halls.

Hotels near the terminal

For early morning departures or long layovers, we recommend staying in one of the hotels right on the airport grounds.

There is no hotel inside the transit area, so if you have a long layover you will have to go through immigration and go outside the airport.
