Arrivals and departures at Cairo Airport

Giza

Looking for arrivals or departures to/from Cairo Airport online in real time to check delays or boarding times? The official airport website always offers the most accurate information:

Where are the arrivals and departures?

Cairo Airport has 3 terminals.

  • Terminal 1
    • 🛬 Arrivals and 🛫Departures and check-in desks - ground floor
  • Terminal 2 - ANA domestic flights + some international flights
    • 🛬 Arrivals - ground floor left
    • 🛫 Departures and check-in counters - ground floor right
  • Terminal 3
    • 🛬 Arrivals - ground floor
    • 🛫 Departures and check-in counters - 2nd floor

The terminals are connected by a free airport bus and a train that runs every few minutes.

When to be at CAI Airport?

Cairo Airport is one of the most inefficient airports and there are often long queues for security checks.

  • International flight: ideally 3-4 hours before departure
  • Domestic flight: ideally 2 hours before departure

The terminals are also quite large and you can walk over 25 minutes from one end to the other.

Is Cairo Airport open at night?

Yes. The airport operates 24 hours a day.

Night arrivals and departures are common, but:

  • night taxis can be more expensive.
  • Cairo' s historic centre is far away

If you arrive after midnight or depart early in the morning, it may be more convenient to stay right by the airport.
