Barbados' only airport is located at the southern tip of the island less than 19 km from the capital Bridgetown. The airport is one of the busiest in the Caribbean, with scheduled flights heading throughout the Caribbean, to the USA, Canada, Brazil and many direct flights to Europe.
Different airlines display the name of the airport differently on their schedules and tickets. Some refer to 'Bridgetown Airport', others more generally to 'Barbados Airport'.
