Asturias Airport in a nutshell

Asturias

Asturias Airport is named after the province in which it is located, Asturias. It is also often seen in flight schedules under the name "Oviedo Airport", which in turn is named after the nearest big city about 50 km away.

The city of Gijón is 42 km from the airport.

Asturias airport is smaller, more regional in nature. Most of the connections are to Madrid, Barcelona and other Spanish destinations.

Direct international flights go to Paris, Amsterdam and Rome, for example. The airline Volotea has one of its bases here and Vueling also has a significant number of flights.
