Volotea in a nutshell
Spanish low-cost airline Volotea is one of Europe's youngest low-cost carriers, having only been founded in 2011.
Today, Volotea is a fully established airline operating mainly across the western half of Europe. However, some flights also go to Central and Southern Europe as well as North Africa.
The airline operates a fleet of around 45 Airbus A319/A320 aircraft. Older Boeing 717 aircraft have been retired from the fleet.
