Internet and Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge via the Zayed Intl Airport Free Wi-Fi network.

Restaurants
You’ll find plenty of restaurants and cafés both before and after security. You’ll come across affordable local fast-food outlets serving shawarma, stylish Irish pubs, as well as well-known fast-food chains such as McDonald’s and Burger King, and coffee shops like Costa Coffee, Starbucks and Lavazza.

Shops and convenience stores
There are far more shops beyond the security check. As well as the usual duty-free shops, you’ll find a range of luxury boutiques selling fashion, jewellery and watches, such as Gucci, Fendi, Kenzo, Hermès and others.
Cheaper shops such as Victoria’s Secret, Footlocker or Moji may also be worth a visit.
There are also, for example, chemists and newsagents such as WHSmith and Relay, selling drinks and light refreshments. You can find a list of all the shops on the airport’s website.
Showers
Public showers can be found roughly in the middle of the terminal, amongst the shops. Follow the signs with the shower icon.
There are two larger cubicles with shower trays. You must bring your own towels and toiletries; these are not available to borrow.
Luggage storage
You’ll find the luggage storage facility in the arrivals hall of the main terminal. Both the storage facility and the lockers are operated by Excess Baggage Company.
The luggage storage facility at Zayed Airport is open 24/7.
The prices are as follows:
- up to 3 hours – 35 aed
- up to 12 hours – 55 aed
- up to 24 hours – 75 aed
- up to 48 hours – 105 aed
- within 72 hours – 140 aed
ATMs and currency exchange bureaux
ATMs arelocated throughout the airport, both in the arrivals halls and near the check-in counters. ATMs from HSBC, First Abu Dhabi Bank and ADCB are available.
Travelex has a monopoly on currency exchange services here, offering very unfavourable exchange rates.
Drinking water
You’ll find drinking fountains with cold drinking water near the toilets, just past the security check. You can fill your own bottle with as much water as you like, free of charge.
You can buy cheap bottles of water for 3 aed from many vending machines.
Smoking areas
You’ll find a smoking lounge beyond security at all terminals.

The old terminals still haunt this place. There are also drinking fountains in the landside, for example in front of the men's toilet near the kiosk where they sell the Hafilat card.
The drinking fountains are also in front of the control at the toilets.
Snack and drink vending machines are scattered around the terminal. They take cards and cash, so they're handy for getting rid of the last dirham.
Even Travelex has ATMs here.
