If you have a long overnight layover in Abu Dhabi and don't want to leave the airport, you can stay right in the transit zone at this hotel:
You will need a boarding pass to enter this hotel and you cannot leave the hotel outside the transit zone.
Hotels near the airport
There are several hotels around the airport. These hotels will offer a transfer in their own minivans to Terminal A at no extra charge:
- Premier Inn *** - about 15 minutes drive from the airport, very reasonable rates from 62 eur per night
- Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island ***** - approx. 10 minutes drive from the airport, great location by the beach in a modern neighbourhood on Yas Island

Premier Inn operates its own airport shuttle.
From the airport it is only Premier Inn Abu Dhabi Airport , it still has free shuttle service to other places : https://mena.premierinn.com/en/h...ark-hotel/ Another hotel Premier Inn Capital Centre also has free shuttle service , but not to the airport : https://mena.premierinn.com/en/h...tre-hotel/
However, this is a comment specifically about the hotel mentioned above.
Can I get to the transit hotel between the two wizz flights? I.e. I don't have one ticket with a change in AUH, but I'll fly in with wizz from VIE in the evening and then fly wizz (or Etihad etc) somewhere else the next morning. But at that point (evening) I won't have a boarding pass, as you have to go to the checkin counter in AUH to get it.
