Oman's first low-cost airline, SalamAir, was established in 2017 and is based at Muscat MCT Airport. It currently has 10 Airbus aircraft, six of which are A320 NEOs and four A321 NEOs.
SalamAir operates mainly within Southwest Asia and the Gulf, but also offers flights to European capitals such as Prague, Sarajevo and Istanbul, and in Southeast Asia to Bangkok, Phuket and Kuala Lumpur.
