Eurowings check-in

Eurowings

Eurowings is one of the carriers that charge airport check-in fees for passengers with the cheapest fare.

Check-in at the airport

Passengers on the BASIC fare can pay for the airport check-in option (printing of the boarding pass) during the booking process for 2,50 eur.

If you choose to check in at the airport after purchasing your ticket, the fee is 15 eur.

Passengers with SMART and BIZClass fares can check-in at the counter free of charge.

If you add checked baggage to your BASIC fare, you can check it in at the counter for free, provided you check in online and have your boarding pass already from home (on your mobile phone or printed).

Counter opening and closing times vary by destination. As a standard, the check-in counter opens 2 hours before departure and closes 40 minutes before departure.

For a list of times at each airport, please visit eurowings.com/check-in.

Online check-in

You must check in online if you are travelling on a BASIC fare and do not want to pay for a printed boarding pass.

Check-in is available 72 hours to 3 hours before departure.

With this method, you can choose between printing your ticket at home or checking in via the Eurowings mobile app. In this case, you just need to scan the QR code.

Seat selection (seating)

If you want to select a specific seat on the aircraft, you will pay a fee for this selection in the BASIC fare from 11 eur to 25 eur depending on the length of the flight and the attractiveness of the seat.

You can skip the seat selection and you will be assigned a random seat for free.

SMART and BIZClass fares allow you to select a specific seat for free.
