Air China is the official national carrier of China and one of its largest airlines.

It has its main base at Beijing Capital PEK Airport and equally important hubs at Shanghai PVG and Chengdu CTU.

Air China is one of only two airlines that are allowed to and do fly to North Korea.

Travelers often confuse the airline with Taiwan's China Airlines.
