Air China flights

Air China has a very extensive network of air services, particularly in Asia and China itself. However, it also offers flights including transfers from regions in Europe, North America and Oceania.
It is worth buying tickets through ticketing websites rather than directly through the airline's website for ease of booking management and identical prices. We recommend that you use the skyscanner.com search engine to compare sellers.

Hello, I wanted to ask about hand luggage. The ticket price only lists one, 55 x 40 x 20 cm and 5 kg. Can I really take an extra bag?
And is the hotel in Beijing with a 19 hour layover really included in the ticket price? Do I have to pick up my checked baggage or does it stay with the carrier and I have to take the necessary things to the hotel on the plane?
This information is unusual, but if true, it would be great.
Thank you in advance for your reply.

Hello, yes, it is possible to take a personal item in addition to 1 hand luggage - this is usually not mentioned on the ticket. Official source here: https://m.airchina.com/c/invoke/...xt3@pgenus
You pick up your checked baggage and take it with you on such a long connection.
