Air Baltic check-in

Krystof Hajek updated 24. 9. 2023

For AirBaltic flights, you must check in separately online or via kiosks at the airport. Check-in at the check-in counter at the airport is subject to a fee.

Online check-in

Whether on your computer or on your mobile phone, check-in online is quick and easy. Go to airbaltic.com/check-in and you'll have your boarding pass in a few steps. Print it out or save it on your mobile phone. Show the QR code to airport staff on your phone screen.

Online check-in is available 36 hours to 60 minutes before departure. If you have Business, Classic or paid for a seat selection, you can check in as early as 5 days (118 hours) before departure.

Any checked baggage will be dropped off at the Baggage Drop-off counters at the airport free of charge.

Self check-in kiosks

AirBaltic offers its own self-check-in kiosks at Riga RIX and Copenhagen CPH airports. Enter your ticket booking reference number, last name and within a minute you have completed the check-in process and the kiosk will print your boarding pass.

Check-in via kiosk is free and the last check-in is 40 minutes before departure.

Check-in at the airport

Check-in at the check-in counter is available for a fee 35 EUR. It is free for passengers:

  • Business and Classic
  • with children under 2 years of age
  • in a group
  • with a code-share ticket from another airline

If you are connecting at Riga Airport and do not have a boarding pass for the connecting flight, you can get one at the Transfer Desk up to 30 minutes before departure. The minimum transfer time in Riga is 45 minutes.
