Riga Airport is the only international airport in Latvia and is located 10 km from the city centre of the capital Riga.
It is home to the Latvian national airline airBaltic, which has made Riga an interesting connecting airport for travel to the Baltic States, Scandinavia and the former USSR.
Ryanair, for example, also operates a large number of flights to Riga from many European cities.
