Aeroflot in a nutshell

Aeroflot - Boeing 737

Aeroflot is the flag carrier and the largest airline in Russia and one of the oldest continuously operating airlines in the world.

During the Soviet era, it was the largest airline in the world. In the 1990s it broke up into many smaller airlines and Aeroflot itself remained with only one base at Moscow's Sheremetyevo SVO airport.

Today, Aeroflot is affected by Russian aggression in Ukraine and has limited flight and repair capabilities due to the blockade of spare parts supplies. It is completely banned from flying to Europe and America.
