The harbour is dominated by the old Art Nouveau harbour customs house, situated at the end of La Rambla, beneath the monument to Christopher Columbus.

From the old customs house, a newly built pontoon promenade known asLa Rambla de Mar leads you to the large Maremagnum shopping centre or to Europe’s fifth-largest aquarium.
