Orizuru Tower
Orizuru Tower is a modern building situated directly above memorial sites commemorating the atomic bombings, such as the A-Bomb Dome.
The viewing platform on the top floor, at a height of 50 metres, offers the best views of the Peace Memorial Park, the modern city and the wooded mountains in the background.

Although the open, spacious observation deck offers beautiful views, it is entirely covered in wire mesh, making it difficult to take a good photo from here.
One floor below, however, you can take better photos from the glass-enclosed viewing area.
Fold your own paper crane
The crane holds a special place in Japanese mythology. It is believed to live for 1,000 years and to fulfil people’s hopes and wishes.
On the second-highest floor, you can fold your own origami paper crane, write a message on it and drop it into the glass Orizuru Wall.
Admission and opening hours
The viewing terrace is open every day from 10:00 to 18:00.
The ticket price for adults is 2 200 jpy.
