Nagarekawa is situated right in the centre of Hiroshima, next to the Hondorishopping street, and is reminiscent of Osaka’s famous Dotonbori district.

Local restaurants and entertainment for adults

Nagarekawacho really comes to life after dark.

In every other doorway, you’ll come across so-called ‘Ladies’ Bars’, where you pay an entry fee for 60 minutes (approx. 8 000 jpy). Inside, you’ll be looked after exclusively by female waitresses.

As well as these adult bars, the neighbourhood also boasts a large number of classic pubs, traditional Japanese restaurants and ordinary bars.
