In January, you can fly from Prague to Venice with Ryanair on a wide range of dates, 49 eur, whether for a classic weekend, just one night or a longer stay.

Weekend dates from Friday to Sunday, for example, work out well as you can manage them without taking any annual leave:

• 8–10 January for 53 eur
• 15–17 January for 56 eur
• 22–24 January for 56 eur

For weekend breaks, you can set off from Prague on Friday evening at 6.00 pm. However, there are also morning departures at 7.25 am, which will give you more time in Venice and, for some dates, are even cheaper – for example, 8–10 January for 51 eur or 15–17 January for 54 eur . The return flight is on Sunday at 19:40.

You can also go for just one night, from Saturday to Sunday, for example:

• 9–10 January for 53 eur
• 16–17 January for 56 eur

Ryanair flies to Treviso, from where there are direct buses straight to Venice. A return ticket via Terravision costs 18 eur.

For a one-night stay, it makes sense to stay in Venice itself. Whilst it’s more expensive than staying in Mestre, you’ll save time on commuting and can enjoy the city in a more peaceful atmosphere in the morning.
