Skiing in Armenia from Bratislava and Prague
About this deal
Armenia can also be an interesting choice for a winter trip. As well as Yerevan and excursions in the surrounding area, you can combine your stay with a skiing holiday in Tsaghkadzor, the country’s best-known ski resort, which is about an hour’s drive from the capital.
From Bratislava, you can book return flights with Wizz Air during the winter season for 45 eur. The cheapest flights are available from November to February, but if you’re mainly going for the skiing, it’s better to choose dates from the second half of December, when the season is usually in full swing.
Flights from Prague are also a good option. During the winter season, you can book return flights to Yerevan for 74 eur.
Tsaghkadzor offers several ski slopes, cable cars and equipment hire shops. However, if you want to take your own skis, Wizz Air transports them as sports luggage. Transporting a pair of skis costs 60 eur one way.
