Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport in a nutshell
Zvartnots Airport serves as the main and de facto only international gateway to Armenia. It is located on the western outskirts of the capital Yerevan, about 15 km from the city centre.
From Yerevan, connections to Russia and other countries of the former USSR, Western and Central Europe and the Middle East prevail.
The airport is also currently served by low-cost airlines, most of which operate Wizz Air.

Does anyone know of a local reliable guide to Armenia? Maybe just a tip on where to look...

Manages the above group. Three years ago he took me on a day trip Noravank -> Shaki -> Khndzoresk -> Tatev -> Devils bridge. Total cost was 100 USD for two people including transportation. Reliable, English okay.

Waiting for your morning flight? 🙂
For those who want to taste the local cuisine and want a lot of music for little money. Probably the best value for money. That's why it's often crowded. You have to get used to the somewhat strange ordering system for us: first you pay at the cash register for the selected food, you get a receipt and with that you "draw attention" to yourself over the counter to then receive the coveted feed. But it's worth it. The signs are in Armenian and Latin, and I, as well as others I've noticed from reviews, found it worthwhile to take a picture of the selected dishes and show the photo to the lady at the cash register. You can speak Russian just fine and they understand English quite well. https://maps.app.goo.gl/SucLFjVR...26?g_st=aw
I went by a few days ago, it looked interesting. I just don't understand why you're posting this here at the airport.
