Los Cabos International Airport in a nutshell
Located in the very south of the California peninsula in western Mexico, this modern airport is popular with travellers heading to the seaside for their holidays.
The small town of San Jose del Cabo is 12 km from the airport and the popular resort of Cabo San Lucas is 45 km away.
Viva, Volaris, Southwest Airlines and Alaska Airlines have the largest share of flights here. Most flights fly domestic routes within Mexico and holiday flights to the USA and Canada.
A direct long-haul service to Frankfurt, Germany, is operated by Condor.

To jirpokor: According to your posts you will have interesting experiences, but that was probably the purpose of buying the ticket to a not so traditional destination. Definitely get data in advance, and I assume you are good with whatsup, so for example from O2 World for 399 Kc, so you have at least 5 GB if something happens (I don't dare to guess if you will be able to solve the local sim etc. on the spot). I'd recommend taking something for the first night or two at an airport accommodation or a better hotel and take your time to look around and decide what to do next and what I dare. And if you've never been to a similar country, the key is not to be fooled by the locals, who in the better case want to sell you something (from taxi, to accommodation, to various experiences), in the worse case they want to take something on the plane (someone else's suitcase, things, etc., which then ends up with many years in jail for transporting drugs - so be careful, they can easily guess who is an experienced traveller and can be persuaded to do so). The only way is to simply not talk to anyone who offers you something and strictly refuse immediately without discussion.

If I followed that rule, I'd miss out on the most exciting experiences of most trips. Not everyone's a crook if they invite you for tea, dinner, a boat ride...
But of course I know what you mean.
This applies only to this situation, when he writes that he doesn't know languages and obviously has no experience, so he doesn't even know who's a crook and who's not - and it's sometimes even for an experienced person it's difficult to guess and there has to be some internal brake and also courage/experience to stop it in the right occasion and especially in time (and also while it's possible, because then there can be situations when it is difficult, both socially and in a given situation, because of the risk of escalation). I remember a situation when a very active, quite normal-looking group in Hong Kong asked me to take their suitcase through security, the arguments were quite logical and it didn't look dangerous, but I said no on principle and only then I realized that it could have ended in a big blow. And even in safe Dubai, the taxi driver treated me completely differently when I got in Dubai and then completely differently on the way to Ras AK and completely differently when we got out, changing the conditions, etc. From Mexico I have had good experiences with taxis for the whole day, local transport, normal people, but it could be that we who travel a lot just don't go against the problems and we can choose "when yes and when no". And his trip looks dangerous for him on principle, so I advise him to be careful and prepare in advance for the need to communicate via whatsup (reserve in the data) etc.
Hello sir, I am flying to los cabos on 28.11 and I will be riveted in cabos San Lucas
Mayan monkey los cabos
I don't know the languages please how can I get to my accommodation cheapest by public transport and at which stop should I get off.Thank you very much for the answer.Jiri jirpokor@seznam.cz
First time abroad without a travel agency and at an older age? I'm just guessing, and if that's the case, I appreciate the courage and sometimes you have to start, but it would take better preparation than just buying a cheap flight and booking one of the cheapest accommodations.
I was there 16 years ago and with a different airport arrival, but I recommend you check the transport section here where the query is answered for the most part. Regarding the exit stops, I recommend looking on the map on map.cz that the hostel is behind the center (about 750 m) and the last bus stop is 1 km in front of the center (it's so named there, although in English). I.e. public transport will probably be possible only this way and walking, but I don't exclude that they have some local transport.
Regarding the aforementioned preparation, which I'm afraid hasn't taken place yet, I recommend downloading at least maps.cz for offline use, a translator including Spanish and Czech for offline use, and securing an eSIM or local SIM in advance, or a package from a Czech operator. Then it will be possible to speak with the translator on the mobile phone and the spoken word.
Maybe I'd rather take an Uber from the airport to the hotel
Libor don't worry I have been many times even in far abroad without CK ticket + booking
You know, I've already checked which stop I have to go back to the airport located at
Boulevard lazaro Cárdenas. Someone went there a month ago.
But I don't know which stop on the way to San Lucas you mean so I can walk to my hostel.
on foot on which street?
..and also I don't know when I arrive in Frankfurt in the morning with Condor which hall do I need to get to hall C and there to some gate.
I'm scared to get out of the airport😁
Well, if you've been to a faraway foreign country many times and have such questions and concerns about common travel situations, you're going to be much worse off than I expected. The bus stop is most likely the same only on the other side of the street i.e. towards the north east.
Okay, I can handle it.
Now it's been about 10 years since I started traveling with a travel agency and now the price offer and the destination have me so intrigued that I'm going individually by myself😁
It's a beautiful destination, and it's worth going further south on the California peninsula if you don't want to spend time on the beaches. Outside of Cabo San Lucas there are minimal tourists and not many locals live in the area either.
Just don't go swimming at Divorce beach, where suddenly the waves around 4 meters high roll in off the beach. Neighbouring Lovers' beach, on the other hand, is safe without waves as it faces the bay. Most people arrive there by boat, but you can probably still walk from Solmar resort over the rocks. The boat is worth it for the view of the Arch of Cabo San Lucas, which is otherwise not visible from land.
Thanks for the info, especially the info that you can go to the lovers beach over the rocks.I am considering the Arch boat with transparent bottom.I read somewhere that 45 minutes costs about 900kč
I'm going there briefly so hopefully if I go back it will be more from southern Baja California, but I would probably have to go with someone to make it worthwhile to rent a car.
I, along with some other people, took a cheap boat ride from the main El Farito beach to Lovers' that day, and it was just a short detour to the arch before that. I don't know if it was common anymore or how it was managed, but it was a boat taxi and not a tour. Try asking at the hostel. Otherwise, I walked there and back.
You can also travel by bus to Todos Santos and walk to Punta Lobos beach there, but it's not for swimming. Or take a bus to La Paz, but you'll want to stay a couple of nights there and take a boat trip to Isla Espíritu Santo to swim with the sea lions or take a bus to Balandra beach.
