Transfer between flights
Ciampino is dominated by low-cost airlines, so you won't usually find a classic one-stop transfer (although Ryanair does offer a few guaranteed transfers here, but at unattractive prices).
However, thanks to the dense network of routes, many travellers will put together two independent tickets with a connection at Ciampino. The arrival and departure sections are not interconnected. So you always have to leave the transit area, walk out and go back through the departure hall and security.
