Internet and wi-fi

You can use free wifi in the transit zone. Unfortunately, the wifi doesn't work in the public area, which is annoying for example when ordering a taxi via the Uber platform.

However, you can use the free wifi in the Quito Airport Center building directly opposite the terminal, where you'll find several restaurants with unencrypted networks.

Quito Airport does not have many mobile operator outlets. Get Ecuadorian data e-sim quickly and easily on the web airalo.com.

Restaurants

There are several snack bars and restaurants in the public and transit areas of the terminal, with prices up to 4-5 times higher than in the city. Well-known chains such as TGI Fridays operate in the transit zone.

There is a small snack bar in the arrivals hall. Restaurants inside the airport are usually open to cover all departures and arrivals.

Slightly cheaper dining with a much wider range of restaurants can be found in the Quito Airport Center building opposite the terminal exit, which also has a fast-food outlet such as KFC (open 24/7).

Shops and supermarket

While restaurant facilities are plentiful at the airport and Quito Airport Center, there are significantly fewer shops.

There are virtually no traditional shops in the public area of the airport, while after security you'll mainly come across local souvenir shops.

There is no grocery supermarket at the airport or in its vicinity.

Luggage storage

The luggage storage service at the airport is provided by Bag Parking.

The branch is located in the Quito Airport Center building opposite the terminal and is open 24/7. The fee for all-day storage is 8 usd. Official information: bagparkingquito.com/contact.

ATMs

ATMs that accept standard international cards are also available in the arrivals hall. Unfortunately, you cannot avoid the local fee 4 usd for withdrawals at any of them.
