Passengers are served by only one medium-sized and very clear terminal inside, divided into domestic (right) and international (left) sections.
On the first floor you will find departures, while on the ground floor you will find arrivals.
The security check is well organised and the waiting time is between 5 and 20 minutes.
For international arrivals, you will always be subject to immigration control. Queues form for approximately 20 to 50 minutes.
Transfer between flights
Use the airport to connect mainly to domestic flights within Ecuador or to the Galapagos Islands.
Orientation is really easy, the transfer takes about 70 minutes due to the need to go through immigration control. There is no need to leave the transit zone and there is no security check when transferring between domestic lines.
