Kerry Airport in a nutshell
Kerry's small international airport in the south-west of Ireland, often referred to as 'Farranfore Airport', is an ideal base for travelling through the beautiful green Irish countryside.
It serves, for example, as the starting point for the famous 180km 'Ring of Kerry' road-trip, which circles the spectacular Iveragh Peninsula.
The nearest major town is Killarney, near the national park of the same name, 18 km to the south.

The terminal is very small and can be crossed on foot in 1 minute.
The facilities are cramped and if 2 or more planes meet here, the terminal is extremely crowded and you can spend upwards of 30 minutes in the security line!
Therefore, it is best to arrive well in advance of your departure time, at least 75 minutes.
Kerry Airport is currently only served by Ryanair, which flies from here to the following airports, for example:
- Dublin DUB
- London Stansted STN
- London Luton LTN
- Frankfurt Hahn HHN
- Manchester MAN
- Alicante ALC
- and other seasonal routes
